Middle Georgia School of Massage has established procedures for placement assistance that include:
Resume preparation, identifying strengths to construct a qualifications summary, developing key sections of resumes, creating a cover letter, learning networking and social skills and interview skills.
Job boards created on the school’s website to help students to find and accept job interviews. Future placement plans: An extensive, ongoing employer contact list for students will be created. Community education and outreach programs will be developed by the school as a means to reach out to potential employers.
The school will maintain placement records for graduates that record:
Placement activities for each graduate, a follow-up system for collecting, recording and maintaining employment information on graduates on an annual basis for at least one year. Each graduate will be contacted by school personnel and the information gathered will allow the school to verify to NPEC that the successful completion of an educational program here leads to employment, it will give insights into potential program modification by faculty members and will allow for productive institutional planning.
